Manifest & Match ("we", "us") is a career-discovery application. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your data exists to power your matching — we don't sell it, and we don't share it with advertisers.
What we collect
- Account information. Your email address, used to sign in via a trusted third-party authentication provider.
- Résumé information. If you upload a résumé, we extract your work history, skills, and education to build your matching profile. Résumé text is processed by a third-party AI provider solely for extraction and for generating documents you request (such as cover letter drafts), and is stored in your private profile.
- Activity in the app. Your interactions, saved roles, and preferences — used to personalize your matches, and stored against your account so your progress persists between sessions.
How we use it
- To match you with job postings and career directions — the core function of the product.
- To identify skill gaps and recommend relevant courses (some course links are affiliate links — see our Affiliate Disclosure; no personal data is shared with course providers when we show you a recommendation).
- To generate documents you explicitly request, such as cover letter drafts.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your profile, résumé, or activity history with employers, advertisers, or course providers.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
Where your data lives
Your data is stored with an established cloud provider under your account, protected by access rules that restrict it to you. Job postings shown in the app come from third-party sources and contain no information about you.
Your choices
- Reset: an in-app control lets you erase your history and start over.
- Deletion: email us at jason@manifestandmatch.com and we will delete your account and all associated data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note the new date at the top of this page.
