Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Manifest & Match (“M&M”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account, and for providing accurate information.

4. The service

M&M helps you discover career directions and matching jobs and suggests skills and learning paths. We do not guarantee a job, a hire, any outcome, or the accuracy or availability of any third-party job listing or program. Job listings and ads are provided by third parties; we are not responsible for them.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you provide (profile, résumé, etc.). You grant us a licence to use it only as needed to operate the service for you (e.g., to personalize your matches). You must not upload anything unlawful or that is not yours to share.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no scraping, reverse-engineering, attacking, spamming, or unlawful activity, and no attempts to break or manipulate the matching engine.

7. Advertising and third-party links

The app shows ads and may link to third-party sites (job applications, programs). Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices; we are not responsible for them.

8. Service provided “as is”

M&M is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, M&M is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using M&M at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms and will post the new version with a new date. Continued use means you accept the changes.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your place of residence.
